That is looking very good indeed. Also seems that it is getting used which is excellent - pity about the fuel pump though :? .

I have to say that I would have had no qualms about driving down to Manchester in it, and I did do up to 400 miles in a day in it on more than one occasion. 100 litres of fuel is quite a dent on the old credit card right enough.

Looks like the car has definitely went to the right person :wink: .


SOLD: 1978 SE6a Auto.

Glad to hear you’re driving it - they truly are Grand Touring Estates. I haven’t been a Scimitar owner for long (yet), but mine has already excelled on a proper 10-day roadtrip back to Denmark and then return to Blighty. Also been down to Bicester Heritage twice which is a decent trip from the High Peaks.
What will you be doing in Manchester if I may ask?? Not far from me... :wink:

Thanks, it is a great car.Still having fuel problems, and have gone back to the mechanical pump.All being equal we will use it go to Manchester,grandson’s christening, and hopefully a day out in a Didsbury park, for the Didsbury Car Show, as it’s on my sons doorstep,cheers Peter
