Was this engine fit something Reliant experimented with?
Says it is registered as being 929cc which is a capacity I can find no record of Coventry Climax making.

There was a "930" (actually 928cc) Sunbeam Talbot engine - a popular Imp upgrade?

Regal 330 (VAV ---) now passed to another 'keen owner'

Reliant Rebel restoration has had quite a few modifications.
Fitted with Sunbeam Coventry Climax engine and sunbeam box .........
...............
Registered as Historic Vehicle on logbook, so no MOT or TAX required.
Errrrrm???????? :w

maybe a 'period mod' as 'original engine / drive train NLA, but as you suggest :w ?? ? ? ?

The 930 engine is from the late 70’s - possibly 80’s but not sure I’d say “period...
