Hi, can anyone tell me how the front bump stops come off? There doesn’t seem to be anything holding them in as they turn freely.
Also the brake pipe retaining clips, are they 3/16 or 5/16ths?
Does anyone have a front wheel stud I could buy, one of mine snapped.
Cheers, Nigel.

Bump stops just push into place - fat at the end that pushes into the metalwork. Not sure about your other questions I'm afraid - certainly don't have a pare wheel stud - try QRG they have a few cars they take bits off when they are needed.

Probably won’t try QRG...bad experience with them!
Also on the gearbox, where the clutch cable enters, should there be a rubber boot? The bell housing on my car was very oily inside. The engine had more oil on the outside than the inside and I thought that some of it had found its way into the bellhousing. If there should be a boot are they still available?

I would try GW if you don't want to deal with QRG - not sure if they have old cars to take bits off though. If our car is Ford engined then Ford my have the GB boots otherwise it would be Nissan. Don't know about Nissan but Ford are not renowned for having bits or cars over 7 years old.

Have spare wheel studs loose here if needed.

Given it’s a Small Sports, I’m assuming the ones on the front suspension. I think they will eventually pull out but they tend to be a bit reluctant to come out due to the shape of the moulding. A squirt of some lubricant spray might ease their movement?

Cheers Phil, I didn’t want to force them just in case they had some hidden fixing.
And yes please Philip, can you put one aside for me please. I will pm you with a list of other bits too!

that makes sense now the information bar does not appear on my phone and I am often wondering what car the poster is actually referring too.
