Gents, is there a known place where water gets in while the car is parked in a downpour?
Windscreen corners by any chance?

Everywhere else is bone dry.
thanks
Martin

Prime suspect is the windscreen seal in the bottom corners. Try Captain Tolleys sealer.

thanks guys i'll investigate those areas..
Actually just changed the drivers wiper wheelbox for a further sweep 32 teeth one this afternoon, so the new inner/outer plinths should rule out that point from today.

Had the same problem with my 5a , managed to get some Capt T and I was a bit sceptical but followed the instructions and put it around front screen and rear side windows , worked a treat. I had put a light dust of talc on the inside trim and this helped me id the point of ingress , but it could run along a frame and then drip , also put a bit around my aerial . Do not ignore the door seals , if not seated right they could also be a problem . Richard .

Radio aerial. The hole opens into the offside kick panel and any water ingress appears in the driver's footwell.
