gtc/galv chassis

hi all-what year gtc would have galvanised factory chassis if any please-and what axle ratio/rpm per 1k should be fitted to the autos

From March 1983. #371 is the first confirmed galvanized chassis. Earlier cars could have been replaced due to accident damage or restoration.

I know I should know the axle ratio, but not got the info to hand :oops:

All Cologne engined cars were 3.54 ratio which is somewhere around 27 mph/1k rpm.

Sorry, my info was for the overdrive - the C3 auto is much lower geared - 21mph/1k rpm (but of course the A4LD bolts straight on :D )
