not quite Phil....3/4 as you will know is 0.05mm larger and so would most likely not fit in crank without too much distortion. 0.05mm being 0.0019685inch so not far off 2 thou interference fit. We are after all working with modern high technology vehicles with close tolerances.....not like our 30s machines...
12.5mm isn’t a standard size but 19mm and 3/4” can be within the tolerances of some measuring devices. Come across it many a time when I was designing PCBs for defence stuff and some parts came in on 0.2” pitch and others on 5mm (as things started going metric). Oh what fun we had..
