Looking from the front in origional spec are the battery posts on the right or left ? 6a

Ok thanks Roger i was concerned they might foul the bonnet moulding..The one on it has them on the Right

In the search for a bigger battery that will fit, people may choose all sorts of other batteries, with different terminal configurations. If your battery is the other way round, presumably it has the terminals the other way around too, otherwise the earth and power leads would need to have been lengthened (normally earth is at the front). Some people like to put it that way round, to get the terminals away from the mount clamp.
