Just had a look at it on Silverlake site , what a shame . The inside looks to have had some money spent on it . Hope it gets bought and put back on the road . Regards Richard .

The advert states category S, which is structural damage, would it now have a twisted/bent chassis leg?
Was this car sold resently on Facebook, from eastbourne/Hastings area?

That doesn’t look hard enough to damage the chassis to me. I expect the cat S is a result of a lazy assessor, they just don’t understand separate chassis vehicles. Possibly the spare wheel tray and nose support are bent but neither are part of the chassis.

Agree with Jim. Having, once-upon-a-time, taken the body of a GTE, I find it hard to believe that the front/rear wouldn't be totalled in order to damage the main chassis members. Assuming nothing major/terminal with chassis, then that car has to be worth saving for the interior alone judging by the pics.

The only downside is these places tend to move them around with a forklift so lots might be damaged underneath ie exhausts.
