There was always that tip about pouring Luke warm water onto the screen until the blower unit could take over.

Wonder if anyone has tried to use a portable demister/heater (12V powered from the cigarette lighter) in a Scimitar?

Having read some of the threads on here, seems like lots of issues with the club heated windscreens.... :(

Did you see me driving or was it parked? I didn’t seE your car. I usually see classics as I’m a bit of a car nut.
You were in Halfords car park, I was driving past heading for Trinity Road.

Yep, on quite a few cars, I even knew of one that had the fan in the back too.

Ha, ok then!

Anyone have any recommendations on a decent fan to use...that won't blow the fragile GTE electrics!

Thanks in advance

I do remember they were Kingavon, which were cheap and cheerful in the day.

Maybe a newer type of Ceramic would be ok ??.

That’s a nice car, wish it was mine . Is it a early pre 500 car?

Not sure; How do I find out if it’s an early pre 500?

Do'nt think so , but I have been wrong before [ on many occasions  ] lets see what the chaps in the know say. Dont you think the Fulvia's rear side windows are very like the ones on the DB4 GT Zagato , bit of a trade mark , if I remember the rear hatch is side hinged. Had a Fulvia 13s for a short time before it crumbled away, very nice engine though . Richard .
