Well that's another new one... or most likely one probably on the register, but with a lovely private plate that isn't

An update would be appreciated!
I've looked up Philip, and yes there is a photo of a GTC with this plate

But, that's where it gets confusing. It's Olympic Blue and RHD. There are a number of different owners noted, including in Holland - where allegedly it was converted to LHD and painted Metalic grey. Then there is pictures of the car on original registration in Trafalgar Blue (?) from Slice.

In the database, the car noted as Philip's, is on a foreign (French) registration.

The above is clearly a white or champagne RHD GTC. So, is it the same car as in the register - which I completely agree, is out of date, as last updated in 2005 - or is the plate on a different GTC - potentially still owned by Philip, but not informed to registrar :D

See

Still.....nice to see a scimitar and owner enjoying being out and about in the Welsh countryside!
Now, if I could only get more time and inclination with this dammed rubbing down ☹☹☹

pretty sure it’s not Philip’s - I think someone either got a random GTC plate or the numbers mean something to the owner and not the car :D

If a car has been exported and the number plate not retained by the previous owner, the dvla can then legitimately add it to their for sale site as it reverts back to their ownership. So maybe someone else has purchased the number?

Very likely, or even the plate was sold before exporting. Many possibilities, but makes my job as registrar 'interesting' trying to keep track of them all

I'm looking for someone who was born or purchased a GTC in Sept '88
