Seen a Scimitar somewhere? Looking for a long lost Scimitar or Sabre? This is the place.

Derelict SS1 :(

Post by pauluspaolo » Tue May 26, 2020 6:16 pm

My friend is a member of a Facebook group called Unloved & Abandoned Classics. Another member has just posted this photo of a blue B REG SS1 (possibly B445GOM). The person who's posted it says it's been in the same spot since 1997! A gate was tied to the bumper but over the years the weight of the gate & the wind have pulled the bumper off. Quite sad to see really :( I've no other details at all - is B445GOM (if that is it's registration number) known to the register??

Photo os said SS1. There's talk on the FB group that the car behind it, under the tarp, may be a Marcos of some sort....

I don’t think it’s on the register, so if anyone could confirm the reg and grab the VIN for mikelima48 it would be appreciated.

It seems that the chap who's spotted the car is a delivery driver - he may be able to confirm the registration but I'm not sure he'll be able to get the vin number. I've asked my friend to ask so we'll have to see what happens.
I'll obviously let you know if I hear anything :)

Indeed, sad to see and the car does not appear on the register, so, if the VIN can be obtained, that would be amazing. Thanks

Doubt there's much chassis left under that!
