I just spied a Scim... while watching a movie!

Just watched "The Day The Earth Stood Still" - the latest version with Keanu Reeves - and in the last few minutes of the movie, there is a shot of London and chap standing in front of what I think is a brown 5a....so who's car is it?

Add another one to the collection. Re-run of "The Professionals" yesterday.

Gunfight in an underground car park (rather murky lighting). Car used for hiding behind = Gold / Sand colour Scim, poss with a black pvc roof.

Are we sad for doing this?

Did anyone else spot the shiny Brown SE5 with steel wheels in the closing scenes of the 'The Day Earth Stood Still' (2008) on the telly last night?
or was I the only one wasting a beautiful summer evening watching a lame Keanu Reeves remake?
Curiouse how this car made it into a recent hollywood movie!

Se5a is in the film The Day the Earth stood still

Post by MikeyBikey » Sat Jun 30, 2012 11:22 am

towards the end, when everything stops around the world, they do a shot of london with all the usual tat, big ben, black taxis, coppers and

in the foreground a maroon se5a :P :P

I was so excited i called my wife in and replayed. :? :?

However I've just gone to get a photo of it on the telly and post it up here and my wife's just deleted it whilst i'm here getting the camera

There's one heavily featured in " The most fertile man in Ireland" a not very funny NI comedy.
