Hello, it seems that I’ve still got a 5a itch that needs scratching.
I’m a previous owner of an Aquamarine GTC and have driven thousands of miles in a new 5a back in 1975.
So looking for a nice 5a (not a project).
Thanks, Jeff.

A bit like bus's , you get none for sale for a while then three turn up all at once . Even the Auction houses are empty at present as far as I can see . There is the 5 series, green car coming to auction very soon , but looks to need more work than you would like . Happy hunting , have you put something on the Wanted page ? ,Richard .

Well that was quick! I have today purchased a 1973 Beaujolais red SE5a. Didn’t see that happening so soon :D

No time wasted there

It’s the luck of the draw - sometimes what you’re looking for appears straight away and other times it seems like a long old wait.. Looking forward to reading how you become reacquainted with a 5a again 8)

It’s as clean underneath as well 8)
It’s too bling under the bonnet for me, I like things original.

Quick note on the bling - I’d be losing the over braided fuel hoses and get some Cohline rubber there ASAP - you wouldn’t want it suffering fuel leaks (or worse)...
