New member introduction

Post by Milo » Mon Aug 31, 2020 11:17 pm

Hello everyone. Thought I’d introduce myself.

My name is Milo. I’m based in Belfast and due to various family issues, the Majority of the restoration of my brothers Turbo charged SS1 has fallen to me.

Luckily, it seems that roughly 80% of it is there and there doesn’t seem to be any “major” repair work ie- chassis welding etc. But I guess we’re wait till we’ve got the tub off. It’s a galvanised chassis so fingers crossed it’s held up.

Spent a couple of hours at it already and the body panels and front end are stripped and away to the powder coaters/paint shop.

So anyway, I’ll be starting a build thread and probably asking lots of “Where should this part go ?” questions.

Thanks in advance

Never try and argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you based on experience.

I have found that around the GB is the place to look for rust as its not galvanised - welcome to the world of Reliant. More info on this site than Reliant ever produced.
