SE4 restoration in scotland

Post by raymond » Sat Jun 27, 2020 4:45 pm

Hello everyone, Ive got my uncles 1968 SE4 to restore, its been sitting in a field for 19 years and hasnt moved since.
I thought I should introduce myself before I dive into the technical forums and post pictures etc.

Ive been restoring and building race engines for a while however its been nissans and BMW's Ive been working on so I've got some learning to
do on the Essex engine and what not.

Hello and welcome Raymond, looking forward to hearing your exploits....if you've been delving into the insides of BMW engines, then you'll find the Essex a doddle, except of course, all your tools won't fit! :D :D :D

Welcome to the club Raymond - life should be simpler, if more rusty, for you on this one! Looks lovely under the patina :D

I can't help myself - I have to ask questions and find out why. Why ? Dunno
