Yes, there are some in Germany, but since the forum is down I have no any contact to other Owners except to Mr. Constantin Jdanoff how helped me with some information.

Alexander Panitzki does an email list for German Scimitar owners.
Also a small but active facebook group for German Scimitar fans.

Apearantly I was maybe wrong in the post headline (sadly it seems I cannot cross out / correct) - as of note from Alexander Panitzki, German Scimi mailing list, my car seems a even more rare (~2500 pcs built) very late 1972 SE5 (not an SE5a !) having already the uprated motor - but as well the SE5a typical dash and rear light arrangement.

Attached my "blue" Scimi car -vs- an "SE5 rear".
(BTW: Is this "shetland pony" or "olympic"?) ...as per below the car should be "shetland blue" but to me looking more olympic - even in the most distant corners I cannot find hints that this is not the original colour !

Anybody in that detail?

I am confused (again)
Why do you think it is an SE5 when it has all the characteristics - and the date - of an SE5a ?
Very nice looking car whatever colour blue it is

Because it is:
Frame No.: 453827
Engine No: TI54557 (i. e. 1972 "ex-factory up-rated")
See attached (got it from Alex Panitzki - THANKS!).

...but am now confused too !

Question is if RELIANT had some kind of fluid transition in its production?

That’s edition one of “The Scimitar and it’s Forebears” and contains a few errors.

The first 5a is thought to be 452500 in Oct 71.

It looks a bit dark for Olympic and I don’t think that was available until much later anyway.
