it has a 5a heater,
definately a 5a body, I know a few were "rung" to get tax exemption when it was pre 73 only.

it will be difficult to put on the road,

I've taken a vow of poverty ...... Annoy me by sending me money!!

Provisionally sold only
Wouldn't pay more than a few hundred quid for what is usable as spares (if indeed there are any usable spares)
Has no value as a restoration as all what is visible is 5a (probably what is not visible as well) and hence 1972 or later
Feel sorry for the person if they actual go through with the purchase

its a rung vehicle .... chassis number and engine number won't match the vin plate or registration document, if there isn't a V5, applying for one will be extremely difficult.

prov sold as it did not reach the reserve, so the seller would be contacted to see if they will accept it.

Late to the party but I owned a brown SE5 manual O/D with that reg in the early 80s.
That looks a right mess & absolutely nothing like mine internally or externally.
I've always regretted selling it & often considered looking for it to buy it back but not whatever that is.
I asked on here some time ago if anyone had any knowledge & at that time it was shown SORN & red.

ETA my suspicion is that the VIN/ID plate has been removed from the genuine vehicle & put on this thing.
A different engine number won't be an issue as it will simply be a case of saying it's been replaced.
Very much like post 73 Land Rovers that are pretending to be earlier vehicles but probably the ONLY bits that are pre 73 are the VIN/ID plates. Some of those that appeared on ebay were reported to DVLA by members of one of the LR forums & DVLA's attitude was total disinterest.
Sadly it looks like mine will have been broken/scrapped.
