SS1 1300 5-speed with GALV chassis. Staffs.

Relatively well known car that has come up for sale.

Great spec being a 1300 and 5 speed combination on a galvanised chassis. Simple, rot proof, cheap to tax (£145 a year), cheap to run, and cheap on insurance. Great first time classic for a youngster really.

Car was "built to spec" by Jim King a few years back for Cipher registrar Simon Fitch. All detailed here https://scimitarweb.co.uk/sgwrs/viewtopic.php?t=27990

Engine was supplied by myself and features a +0.75mm overbore. Coupled to a twin choke Weber TLDM carb it made 72bhp on the rolling road. With some further tinkering (exhaust and cam) it would easily make more if desired but should be sprightly enough in currrent form.

Up for grabs as auction or buy it now on eBay here.
