Wiper cable drive tubing

Post by piers.morrell » Wed Jul 29, 2020 2:07 pm

Does anyone have the bunding tube that runs between the two wiper wheelboxes?
On trying to get my wipers to behave I've discovered the Belleville washer on the drive gear was broken (play here meant the park switch was intermittently hitting the cam) and the drive cable was a pig to remove (original).
Replacement cable picks up passenger side wheelbox fine but major resistance as the cable gets to the driver side box.
Got hold of an endescope and discovered there is a bend into that wheelbox which I could force the cable through but at the risk of creating significant resistance.

The manual clearly states or should be straight - I appreciate this isn't something you would remove for the fun of it but if anyone has that central piece for a 6A please let me know.
Wish me luck getting the old one out...
