Overdrive isolator switch

Post by V6pushfit » Fri Jun 14, 2019 7:45 am

Having looked into fettling (bodging) something up with an RS Components switch, does anyone have a proper overdrive inhibitor switch knocking about? - as project ‘fit overdrive’ is currently stalled with two donor gearboxes neither of which have the original switch present!

This is it, mounts on to the front of the 2 rod gearbox:

Overdrive isolator switch

Nigel at QRG had them remanufactured - they needed a bit of work (to stop the metal cap coming away from the plastic body) and were expensive but I’m not sure if he has any left and/or plans to get more made?
