SE6a FOR SALE

Post by Terry Rickard » Fri Jun 28, 2019 5:34 pm

The following advert apeared in Slice 286, page 94.
Please do not contact me, but please contact Gary direct on 07738943013
1977 SE6a. Good home wanted for my Scimitar GTE that was acquired by me in May 2009. The car was bought purely for the pleasure of rebuilding it. As money became spare I have worked on the car and brought it to its present condition. Unfortunately, due to ill health, the car has sat outside my house with only the annual trip for MOT. As it is now Historic Taxation Class the car is Tax Exempt and no longer has to have an MOT.
Using Graham Walker (as the main agent) I have spent a lot of money on the car, but it still needs new carpets and head lining fitting, plus a few other bits and pieces. It will then be a very nice road going car for someone to use.
The following work has been done by Graham Walkers at Chester (for which I have all the invoices): Engine Overhauled; New 55 Amp Alternator; New Starter Motor; Clutch overhauled; Overdrive Inhibitor Switch replaced; Steering Column renovated; New Laminated Windscreen New 3-spoke Steering Wheel and Boss, New set of wing mirrors; all four Head lights replaced Wipac; Replaced Rear Hatch and Gas Struts; Tow Bar and Electrics fitted.
Reconditioned Steering Rack by Queensbury Road Garage.
NTotal Re-spray; ew Column Multi-Switch; New Passenger Door; New Seats; Replaced Fuel Pump; 5 New Tyres; Fixed Heater; New Front Seat Belts; Fixed demister; New Radio; New Battery; Stainless Steel Fuel Tank and Silencers.
My Medical condition means that I am no longer able to work on the car or drive it much so, sadly, the time has come for it to go to a new owner. The car would need to be collected and transported away (low loader or trailer).
£1,950 ono. Tel: 07738943013 (Old Colwyn, North Wales) (6481 [lapsed])
The photo below of the SE6a is from Slice 237 page 76 and the car has been re-spayed the same colours.
