Love the car - note the lack of wing badges/GTE badge at bottom of vinyl side strips on later 6b's
Here's a pic of my recent purchase with a different engine

For the record, Jaguars use engine oil in the Moss gearbox /diff too.

That’s a nice red GTE , has it got the Granada Cosworth 24 valve engine with manual gearbox?
My last Capri had this set up , was a rocket and sounded fantastic with larger exhaust😀

Right , so I’m booking car in , I need what gearbox oil ?
Engine coolant , the blue stuff ?
Where can I get black silicone hoses to match existing?
Oh and there’s a tee in coolant hoses that’s rusty in bottom driver side , I need a new one of these too 😃😁

I want the GTE to be reliable and drive as it should , I would hope to keep up with modern traffic without worrying about any failures, ie coolant , hence new coolant and hoses, anything I need to do about engine ,?
Would like to take it up to 70mph and beyond on the autobahn of course 😌

Thanks - yes Scorpio engine plus Scorpio A4LD Auto with lock out - so it cruises very nicely at high speed/low revs - Queensbury Road conversion in 2001

Looks as though the bulkhead had to be cut to allow engine to fit ?

I added that I need to change coolant , I can’t find the thread , all I remember was use the blue stuff, there’s a tee down at the front at low level , drivers side that’s rusty I would like to replace it but don’t know what it’s called I think it’s 25mm or 1 inch tee ?
Can anyone help 😄

Never try and argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you based on experience.
