I’ve never seen round or straight through centre boxes. Either way, I wasn’t knocking the car, the underside looks great.

the exhaust boxes are offset at centre
the rear boxes are fitted the correct way up-not a great fan of how they look myself either tbh[kinda gt6 style] but i am sure cliff will get it spot on to his own taste

at first i kinda liked the exhaust tailpipes tbh.but i did go off the look-i like the straight pipes out better

Thanks, guys, for the discussion and pointing this out, as I certainly didn't know about these details. The car came with another set of round stainless rear boxes that I could fit to get the original horizontal pipes, but I kind of like the angled look....at least for now, but that may change!

yes-at least you have the choice of pipes-the pic makes it look like the centre exhaust silencers are straight, when in fact they have an offset when viewed in the metal as it were-i have seen pics of at least one other scim with that type of backbox fitted too

They may have a slight offset but not as much as OEM - look at the alignment to the chassis mount.

Odd the angles there due to the boxes being angled up when fitted if they were straight i could see them pointing down

I feel that since the rear boxes already point upwards going back, the tailpipe angle would be near horizontal if the boxes were turned upside down.
