Thanks Rebel , you will be pleased to know that I have consulted the GP and I can have a procedure done , at great expense , that will freeze my middle finger on my right hand in a extended position as my other fingers curl up , I have put my name on the list , just for you . Richard .

Just a brief up date , as some of you will have read on my other post I am struggling with one of the most complicated technical automotive problems one can encounter , putting the two bolts back in to the base of the rad  . They WILL go in tomorrow. Put my new braided clutch pipe on , it is a bit longer than the old red plastic one so I had to be careful of the route it took to ensure it did not rest against any thing hot . Although the previously mentioned two bolts are not in I did fill the water system up and ran the car up , as it has not been started for about a week , got the air locks out and checked the heater .The engine appears to run slightly cooler by a few degrees , but that is just sat on the drive and not on the road yet [ or it may just be that it was a cold day on the coast ] Regards Richard .

So if your engine is running hot just take the two lower mounting bolts out of the rad...et voila?

I already have my name on a patent, but the annual maintenance costs are too high. Let's go for Design Registration instead... :)
