Stamp the chassis number on the new chassis
Which is what's supposed to be done (if a manufacturer did it) - as are SS1s which had factory replacement chassis.

Never try and argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you based on experience.

Time for an update

After enquiries on a few forums, I found someone very helpful who had access to the right checking system and he gave me the following information from the Chassis Number 451598
SBF472J, First Reg 30/12/1970, Yellow, Engine SC2358, Last Keeper 07/07/2005, and it was imported
curious as to what the right checking system would be? a HPI check can be done on just a chassis number and provide all those details.

pleased you have got it registered can be a frustrating process.

Well done, a good result. I hope all your other tasks get a positive result too.

The online HPI checks I found all require a registration number
I assume a Dealer HPI Check works with just a chassis number and I don't have access to that
