Could very quickly be returned to the road with ss1 panels and armatures

Real shame that the windscreen got cracked when it was being stripped.

Well done for saving what was left of it though.

thats a good idea and probably the simplest fix with lots of SS1 panels out there, it would be nice to find a suitable sst or sabre body. I think the amount of bits needed a rotten donor would be the way to go.

thanks for the heads up :D

Its not all doom and gloom some of the already stripped parts will I believe be used to reserrect an sst, so the bits are not lost for ever. It is a shame that the nose cone was removed as vvv's return to the road would be much easier if I could locate the section between the lights and the nearside corner going spare.

I actually spoke to Graham and he quoted IIRC £500 for a complete front end right up to A post and including the screen frame.
I just needed to check it was an SST, without wheel flares etc before negotiating with him.
My circumstances changed and it got put on the back burner. :(

He was quoting LIST IIRC, but he did agree to a bit of bartering with some of MY stock, never happened because of all the troubles I had since then. :x

this is the damaged area, it has been repaired to a high standard previously but the new damage spreads across to the other light assembly. I have limited experience fixing fibreglass so was looking for the easiest option....Jim is this panel something you may have not in a huge rush as the 6b needs a little work :D
