Cheers, yeah there was definitely a lack of motivation on my part too, it's been a long slog with very little joy, really trying to get back into it though.

Good work with the moles! I've seen similar advertised relentlessly on bookface called "jobber do". Looks like your car's coming together nicely.

On a side note I've got a bandsaw and a swaging tool so can make nice weld-on beaded sections if anyone needs in future

Well done guys, great effort. Try to get something out of this autumn if you can, even if it’s just a test day etc. Curbs did great for my mojo and now I’m driving the orange bus as a sort of daily, just to enjoy all the hard work, before the dark season sets in.

Is we sideways yet...

Cheers guys, its unlikely that the car will be out on track this year, its great that we have the running gear finally sorted but there is alot left to do to get it ready for next season, the MOT expired last month and with all of the changes we have made it wont currently pass an MOT, lots of wiring left to do and lights to source etc not to mention the new bodywork required to house the wider wheels and tyres.

It could however go on the rollers now though which is a bonus, the downside is I will want to drive it as soon as its mapped so im tempted to leave it until its complete enough to MOT.

Ref mapping, when ive had mone done in past, its shown up areas that needed addressing, wouldnt leave to last minute in case you have some odd issue (intake pulsing, flatspots, spark being blown out, voltage drop, fuelling issues, all easily sorted but not at 11th hour)
My plan is to get mine running and mapped, then sort the bodywork and other stuff :)

If you can't see through the manifold at full chat, it's not boosting enough.

The restriction is going to be inlet temperatures I think, trying to squeeze all that air through such tiny valves and at that lift/ duration.
