Yes, I just ran a drill through them to take them to the nearest metric size.

Ben's SS1 - Ti Sprint Car

Cheers Steve

I've got most stuff I need now except exhaust side and everything I've forgot or dont know I need yet. LOL

I want to fit an oil pressure gauge any ideas on the best way to do it? Electronic sender preferred.

Any other useful gauges I should add while I'm at it?

I’ve bitten the bullet with a DASH2 - start at 4 gauge inputs but expandable with logging if you’ve the inclination. I’m aiming for fuel level, water temp, boost and oil pressure for now at least. Anything else is probably more for tuning and dyno use (chargecooler temps etc)

Got flashing lights for shift points and a separate low oil pressure light - are you going to check anything else n track? If you want oil pressure gauge and light, then it’s a tee piece job. I think Stack do a gauge with a low alarm output but a tee and a “normal” gauge is a lot cheaper.

Aside from that, AFR is something handy.

Following failure of smiths gauges, both capillary oil and electric water temp, the latter when running dry and destroying the big ends, I’ve mucked around with loads of bleddy gauges, eventually buying TIM gauges thinking they’re quality ones but tbh, the insides look like Chinese ones anyway.

Next time I’d probably just buy a set from ebay, just get the right senders as well.

Project is looking good. :D

Is we sideways yet...

We have been using one of these, the sender screws directly into the stock port on the cold side of the block next to the engine mount pull the bulb out of the dash oil pressure light.

I break stuff...... :w
