The daily was treated to a shakedown cruise t' Gloucestershire t' pick up some treasure. Clock stopped working, temp gauge is intermittent and both exhausts swing on those pesky ball joints! It's being sulky because of all the attention the Coupes getting!😳😎

On the road I don't drive fast, but I don't slow down for corners
In competition I drive very fast, but not always on the track ...

Its defo got Haloween in mind or it's jealous of the care and time spent on the Coupe!
Performing adequately hood winked me into mediocracy so the horns failure was a wake-up!

Bleddy electrics! Tried replacements first, just because I found them in the treasure chest, no dice. Tested directly on the battery, one worked, one failed t' fart.

Originals tested, high note worked, low note ftf. Put the two serviceable trumpets on, neither worked! New earths fitted, one worked! New power between the two and I have a clattering classy cultural "clear out o' the way!" cacophony!

The temp gauge was a simple fix of magic aerosol and squeezing connectors tighter. The clock was fixed by stabbing the battery earth on and off in rhythm to seconds then, without breaking sequence, leaving on!
