Shame, cos it looks like an "O" ring groove to me.

I have brand new FoMoCo dizzies and they don`t have O rings.

the groove is for locating the spring clip - it’s not even inside the block :D

Good day all,

today i took the GTE for a spin to gather some fence posts....and promptly broke down five minutes into the journey.....fortunately it was a easy fix....
I fed it some petrol :D :D :D

yep..i use it whenever i need to move stuff, on this occasion i was picking up some dismantled fence panels it has no passenger seat...it needs some love really!
Since its last MOT (2018) i have covered 43 miles!

For its day it was the Original Utility Truck LOL.
My 1973 GTE has shifted Tons of stuff in the back over the years.
I can`t remember when the rear seats were last put "UP" and sat in :lol:
When I took it off the road it became a dry storage compartment.

i am contemplating using laminate flooring on the back deck and storage box in place of the passenger seat- as no one else wants to get in or want a lift!

I did do similar, removed the rear seats levelled out the back.

Last week I did about 430 miles in the scim :D
