Will need a brace to either head or manifold itslef but also have to fabricate a stoplock for the existing internal wastegate penny so sandwich and brew and a think... :)

Looks good, well positioned too - you frequently see them tagged on at 90degree to the flow :roll:

You just locking the internal WG closed?

What make external is that?

Yeah angle relative to collector does make a difference. Also good to keep away from collector and main heat source, improves reliability of WG.
Its one from Batty, was ebay special copy of a Tial design feom nearly 15 years ago. Worked fine

Drilled a few holes, mainly to check i wasnt cutting through collector centre, then die grinder :wink:

Did think of plasma but thought a little overkill for a 5 min job

'Very near' pulley on inlet side, need the alloy adpator black machining to fit the other to exh side so havent bothered as yet

Ok so after comments yesterday ref WG, ive chopped it orf and reduced height about as far as i can go

Its now about 20-25mm above the rocker breather hose, so should just clear

Removed and cut down bits off rear of plenum plate

Then fitted the Magnetti Marelli adjustable fuel pressure regulator (ex Cosworth)

Great to see it coming along, hope you can get the bonnet closed now, afterthought bonnet bulges aren't cool if you ask me.

So then, where's the screamer exiting, similar to batty? Scorch door marks because race car?
