A certain GTE is getting a S2k transplant - could be interesting...

On handicap, several of my old (post-2010) company cars can probably get me better scores according to the spreadsheet than our SS1 BUT that's not why I'm doing it.
I was just thinking earlier that my old Audi Avant Auto with 177bhp did an FTD at a Curbs test day a few years ago. It comes to something when your tow car can do that

I’m not trying that with mine as all 4 wheels off the track nullifies your run..

Most of our diesel tow cars are probably sub 200 BHP and north of 1250Kg and would beat our scimitars :D

Just checked and mine’s only 168 BHP but 300 lbft of torque from 1400 rpm thanks to twin turbos!! The only problem is the over-cautious ESP even when turned “off”.

I think I need to get the Touareg out there, 262bhp, 580Nm and about 2200kg with driver. But 0-60 in 7.3secs :D

It may be a bit wobbly around the bends though.

Corky,

I found a harness a great help.

Interestingly Super/Turbo cars work well in CM, more about spread than peak power. The supercharged MX5's are very effective .as is the 4 cyl Boxster.

Out of interest my MR2 is 178 bhp/137 ft/lbs. The Turbo is 200/200, so only 12% more power but 46% more torque. Only a 1.2% increase in handicap. If only I could find a good one

It’d be interesting to see how a high powered small sports fares in CM. Also, think of all those CM class records begging to be broken!  :w
