What about raising the top shock mount? You can do a long brace across the chassis at the same time.
I can flip them as the hole is at the bottom, that’s about an inch, then dropping the bottom mounting hole as before would do it. Just not sure which is the best way as I wasn’t keen on the shock being so low before

Agreed, dropping the lower shock mount normally means higher poundage is needed too. Looks like raise the top and shorter springs, hopefully Luke doesn’t catch you “borrowing” bits off his car

Looked at raising the top mounts over the top of the chassis like turreting an Escort, but there’s a 60 litre tank saying no  Looking like 2.5” shorter springs and flipping the top mounts will work nicely. Can’t go mad lowering it anyway as the boot floor is limiting axle movement.

Clearance on the arches is good..

Final ride height with everything where it should be. Need to tweak the Watts linkage pick ups to match the 5A centre pivot.

What length and poundage springs do you need .

I found on my road coupe with a GTE axle that the diff did indeed foul the boot floor and if memory serves me, the cross member of the chassis too.

8” x 450lb Steve.. There’s 2 3/4” clearance to the diff with the trailing arms parallel (as per the picture), so I’m hoping that’s fine..

Some new upper damper brackets and shortened (temporary) springs... and we’re looking much better! Luckily all the measurements were correct and wheels sit where I thought they would without the need for further arch mods. The list is getting shorter and the cable to hydraulic conversion is next.

Just read the last few pages to see where I am with this

So the engine is plumbed in and the list is pretty short now..
The main thing I’m wanting to get finished is the exhausts, I have the manifolds ready for the final checks before finishing welding them up, then the boxes and side exit pipes will be easy! Hopefully the only thing I have to worry about soon will be where to run it next season..

Harewood has to be a must surely - or are you longing to get back on the circuits?
