Luckily I was on the 60 grit flap wheel stage, wouldn’t fancy the 1mm slitting disc :?

I certainly can't recommend 1mm cutting discs either. This week I fabricated a couple of new outriggers for my Coupe. Cut the back of my left hand on Monday, cut theback of my right hand on Wednesday. Still, finished the outriggers and now have a matching pair of wounds as souvenirs. Ho hum.

At least the damage to your hand is all heal-able!

I sanded my thumb knuckle down on a disc sander a couple of years ago. That stopped the disc sander too. It also stopped me for 15 - 20 mins, while I had a little sit down in the fresh air. I had some thin gloves on then, which didn't really do anything.

I clearly remember someone doing that when I was an apprentice, his thumb went down the gap between a table and a rotary file... Not good :?

Enough enough minor injury stories and back onto the car.. A bit of measure twice weld once today.. Some modified SE6 axle brackets now attached as per the narrower Coupe spacing.

I’ll do the disc conversion and build the axle up without the Quaife LSD and 3.77 CWP for now, at least it will be mobile then and I can get the engine and box in easily.
