Interesting, Peter - I did over 47,000miles in an MGA Roadster without a claim....so far have done nearly 20,000 in the SE5 - oh & about 29,000 in the Herald along with 3,000 in a seventies MGB GT a couple of years ago & odds & sods in others that were acquired to sell on. I think that you realise the sheer vulnerability of being in..well...a Triumph Herald drophead or this Spartan kitcar that am also using currently - obviously the modern ones listed are more high-powered but most will convey that feeling of being cocooned from the outside world which creates a false sense of security & feeling of invincibility; in some instances resulting in foolhardy bravado - maybe!! :w !
