Buy an SE5 that's already got a nicer facia than the 5a...

Thank you for the offer Andy, and sorry for not getting back to you earlier, didn’t realise there had been a couple more posts. Your offer is interesting and i like that idea, let me think the shape of the aluminium a bit more. I also have another dash so could try to replicate an etype setup.
So the 2l of fresh gearbox oil ended up on the m5 between Bristol and Birmingham and the flashing light I thought was dappled moonlight in the front passenger footwell on an early September morning start to wiscombe. It was, actually, the headlight relay up in the footwell arcing. Once I realised I didn’t stop as I didn’t want to be late (I had 120 miles to go) so I picked up the fire extinguisher and put it in my lap for the journey....CNHSS1 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 8:28 pmI'm worried Mike has been abducted by aliens and replaced by a replicant. The old Mike used rmto rock up with gearboxes with no oil in and dashboards and footwells glowed with the light from dodgy connections in the wiring arcing nicely in the early morning mist.
Worrying about style based on E types??!! Nah can't be our Mikey, gotta be an imposter...
