I thought a link for YouTube recommendations might be worthwhile, for folks to share any useful bits of information or channels.
A slightly obscure one to start it of, if your restoration / project is just going too quickly, try turning it in to an animation, the production on this is pretty amazing:

It’s mainly a resto on a Range Rover & an Esprit S2, but with other bits in there too. Nothing fancy, all simple tools

Next up, some fabrication tips and a couple of mad projects from a West Country guy, who’s very dry:

Again, other than the nice welders & plasma cutters, most of the tools are fairly basic.

I love urchfab - but no technical YouTube thread would be complete without project Binky (episode 23 out yesterday)

I love a bit of Engine Masters, Roadkill and Roadkill Garage from Motor Trend On Demand - Roadkill and Engine Masters used to be on YouTube but seem to only be snippets now? Still, a subscription is cheap...

I think it was someone on here who suggested Mighty Car Mods. I go off and on it (not so keen on the Jap stuff) but the supercharged mini series of videos was brilliant and the Skid Factory on the related channel MCM TV2 has some nerdy detail.
Tavarish and his Lamborghini rebuild on YouTube kept me entertained for ages. Doug DeMuro's series of long term reports on his Aston V8 Vantage, Ferrari something or other, Range Rover and GT40 are great: not so keen on the normal reviews he does though.
For nerdy detail on engine building Pete's Garage is worth a look. It's a bit dry but for info it's great.
I like Harry's Garage (Harry Metcalfe, set up EVO mag) for an honest view of some lovely classics too.

I know Rich Brunning of project Binky! Was a pretty hot kart racer in his yoof, worked for Goldline Bearings, then Demon Tweaks before a stint abroad on Gasoline Alley no less. Seems he prefers make a Celica look like a mini these daysOld and Slow wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2019 8:58 pmLove Binky!!
