Tracing my FIRST Scimitar

Post by Don Ricardo » Sun Oct 21, 2018 12:32 pm

Hi all, Don Ricardo here. I am wondering if anyone knows of or where she is UWT 402L in silver with a black vynal roof with a custom material pair of high back front seats and matching standard rear seats, 4 speed with overdrive and a 3.1 RS spec engine, when I sold her in the later part of the 1970's.

Showing as untaxed since January 1991 so not looking good for its survival. Although they have surfaced after many years in "storage".

It could be like my current SE 5A, GTT 333 N she's been in Spain with me since 2002, where she had a small engine fire (luckily no body damage) she is now being restored see 'Gearbox problems'

Tracing my FIRST Scimitar

Good luck, you never know, she may just suddenly surface. My 6a, which was the only new car I had ever purchased was the second one i found after deciding to buy another following a 25 year gap, albeit needing plenty of work.

Hi Don,

Do you have any old photographs of UWT 402L and recent ones of GTT 333N.

Cheers
