Saw one of the above mentioned Ferraris on the school run today, some size of a motor in real life !

Hello all,

a Delorean on the outskirts of Oswestry, it looked as though it had been painted grey metallic, registration letters HOT.

Dunno Duncan, I use an economical yawn box for all that 60 mph commuting nonsense :| . Not strictly on topic, but there's a Nova kit car awaiting restoration in a garden in the village where I work.

Disappointing day today - 420 odd miles from Liverpool to Suffolk and back to Gloucester and most sightings were on trailers!

It all started so well too, a very pretty Peugeot 504 coupe in burgundy going the opposite way on the Wirral turned out to be the highlight of the day. A rust and white Fiat 500 was spotted in the back of a transit tipper, a freshly painted split screen VW bus on a trailer on the M6, then a Westfalia elevating roof bay window model on the A14 (again on a trailer), finally a recovery truck of WW2 vintage (possibly a Scammel but it was in a layby on a trailer and I didn't get a good look).

Still, I had a good nose around GWs yesterday, so that made up for it :-)

Saw this one again today ( though the photo was taken last summer when he kindly used it to drive my daughter to her wedding)

My neighbours old ( 1930's??? ) Riley, he took it to France again last summer with a Riley club group.

He also used to have ( sold it a couple of years ago ) an old Huppmobile. I'd never heard of them before I met him, 1930's ( again I think ) American, like a minor earthquake when he took that one out.

The Scimitar SS1 is not so much a car as a lifestyle statement; it basically says "I'm mad, and I don't care".

Bugatti Veyron parked near The Angel tube station in Islington this evening. It was RHD but wearing Dubai number plates - apparently to dodge parking tickets according to one of the many onlookers.

A very low and meaningful Aston Martin DB5....6 not sure?. Silver green with number circles on doors and bonnet. Road legal sprint/hillclimb car. Sounded emense accelerating through Wilton. An old Saab too :). There is a DB2 around the corner too but not seen it yet this year. Maybe the March Sun will bring it out.
