Taunus 12M I think?
My brother had a later TC2 (which spawned the mk 4 cortina) with a small V6 engine.

I thought Taunus and then discounted it as I thought it was too big. I’m sure you’re right, there was a V6 badge on it. Would it have been an Essex?

Just checked and it’s definitely a 12M (FWD BTW) but they had a V4 originally (1.2, 1.3, 1.5 or 1.7). The TC got the 2 or 2.3 V6.

Rolls Royce 20/25 on the A95 yesterday. Looked fantastic. Keeping a steady 40, even through a 30!

Common or garden MGB, Marykirk, Sunday 23rd June. A disturbingly pink shade of red and looking like it has had new rear springs fitted but needs new front springs. The summer Sunday sunshine brings them out of hibernation - still good to see though.

Gloucester - Silverstone -Yeovil - Gloucester today and the classics were out in force on the roads
Several Austin-Healeys, obviously a Gilbern meet on somewhere as I’ve never seen that many on the road at different times, likewise a long line of TVRs in Bourton on water (and not an AA truck in sight

In Hamburg the other week, lots of old golfs, polos, BMWs and Mercs, a few Alpinas, a lovely 2002. This was the highlight although arguably it's cheating And in London today, a nice old Peugeot 304 estate, a few minis, a lovely B reg Porsche 356 fixed head where the suit wearing driver was sweating his box off, and this on Marylebone Road. I think it's an F40 but couldn't get close to it. There was a Rolls under the cover next to it

Funny you should mention an F40 - I was followed by a fake one this morning (reg is ENZ something) - actually an MR2.
