pop-up headlights

Post by Alan SS1 » Mon Feb 12, 2018 7:47 pm

Jim

nae saying you are telling porkies but on the Toyota surely that whole section is always 'up' otherwise the air intake and 'power bulge' would have to rise and fall with the lights (and power output ?)

or is the hatch for access to check oil/water etc

PS not fancy my chances in a roll-over and just how were they planning folding the glass so that you had a fighting chance of actually seeing out through the corner, when it wasn't raining as no wipers? !! the optics must have been like looking through the corner of a fish tank?

SS1 1600 (AJZ ----), C30 (SK 57 ---)& 480 ( .. . EVU & . . . . CDC)
Regal 330 (VAV ---) now passed to another 'keen owner'

Based on a Mustang reinforced chassis and a "rebuilt" body of an early 60's Bordinat Cobra.

Personally I probably prefer the AC 428 Spider II - the Frua prototype for a proposed successor to the "normal" AC428 (also by Frua). Only one built, but judging by the DVLA record, it looks like it's still taxed and the MOT has only just run out. :)

Lincoln (Ford/Ghia) Quicksilver

Amazingly based on an AC 3000ME chassis (with a mid mounted Ford V6), this Ghia styling exercise (alongside the Probe series) was badged as a Lincoln.
