Your guess is as good as mine as to what these headlights do. But it's a rare beast - and one I remember seeing at the Glasgow motor show at the Kelvin Hall about 40 years ago.

I think that they are 'fixed' numerous holes on the louvres?PeteMac wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2019 9:18 pmYour guess is as good as mine as to what these headlights do. But it's a rare beast - and one I remember seeing at the Glasgow motor show at the Kelvin Hall about 40 years ago.

The moving aerofoil over the front lights seems to be a Rapport signature - the Rapport Ritz based on the Honda Accord (artists impressions only apparently)

It's great that the Forte convertible has now been found, and it looks as though the chap who has found it should be well-equipped to restore it, having read that thread. Also it's discovery has received a write-up on AROnline here

Jensen Nova by Vignale (on an Interceptor chassis)
And here with their Fiat Samantha which appears in the list with full popup headlights
Originally a dark green with black roof, note the different C pillar in it’s initial guise (it also had a black interior at Geneva in March 67, which was replaced with red leather for the redesign/recolour just a month later in Turin). Apparently the bespoke alloy wheels were missing when the present owner rescued and restored it - amazingly the Italian foundry still had the casting moulds!

Amusingly Jim, we recently featured an article on the Vignale Jensen on ViaRETRO:
https://viaretro.com/2019/02/vignales-nova-star/
You wouldn’t happen to know the current owner of the car would you? I would be terribly interested in having a chat with him! Perhaps for a follow-up article...
