Ah well, better luck next time.
I have been contacted by someone who is currently looking at the Pessac red car and the white in Roussillon so it appears the market is quite lively.

I'll call it Blue Comet ! As Comet was a Mercury like my daily Cougar. And here in France we had a Ford Comète when Ford SAF was à French Company...

Any success with interior parts?

A friend of mine has a Ford Comète, superb car with (of course) a V8 engine.
Closely related to one of my favorite cars the Simca Chambord.

Related to the emissions remark:
I looked back at some emails and according to them the date until it is pretty easy/ok to register is 1976, afterwards because of emissions (exhaust as well as noise named) it becomes difficult/costly and not really economically feasible to import/register/get on the road here in CH.

I haven't confirmed/double checked, so take it with a grain of salt, but for someone looking at a SE6* it might be worth looking into it in more detail to avoid nasty surprises.
I know of a bunch of SE5/SE5a here on the road, also there seem to be some SE6/a (but much rarer).
