West Coast Surfing Scimitars

Post by DARK STAR » Mon Aug 10, 2015 7:20 am

The west coast of France, that is.
Max Durand went on holiday with some friends and his SE5a and as usual took some striking photos.

Well done Max !! superb photos indeed 8)
And congrats on promoting Scimitars on the coast ... the GTE looks like the perfect car to go surfing !
I am sure it brought a lot a attention on the car park
Come to think of it, I believe there is still an unusual SE5 pickup for sale on the net ... and it's orange
That would also be useful to bring even more boards to the beach 8)

Thanks Chris for the pics !

I don't know why the Scimitar GTE hasn't been picked up on as the retro car alternative to the ubiquitous VW Camper. It seems ideal considering it's period styling and the fact that it has a long flat roof as brilliantly shown in your photo.
