COC for 1974 GTE in Spain

Post by Don Ricardo » Mon Jul 08, 2019 10:15 pm

Hi Guy's, has anyone tried to import a 1974 Scimitar GTE SE 5A into Spain? I am in the process of trying to get COC, which appears is going to be quite costly.
As for the Scimitar, I have just about finished restoring the old girl which I have owned since 1997, it's been a long slow slog, often having to wait till I have enough funds to afford the parts required and get then sent over here. Thanks to QRG and Burton tuning I have just about got everything I have needed. I would of coarse like to have got more new parts, but transport, postage and courier costs have made things very expensive. My final large expense is going to be a complete re-spray first removing all paint down to the gel coat, using modern paints return it back to the original colour 'Highland Purple'. for this I plan to do as much prep work as possible in the hope of keeping the cost down to around 1,500.00 Euros.

Chris Johnson has a lot of experience with COC applications; if he doesn't see this , try him under the name Dark Star.
