Triple plate chroming recommendations

Post by Brucky » Sat Jul 06, 2019 9:44 am

Hi gents,

Do you have any recent experience of chrome plating companies. I am going to get my hubcaps redone. Castle Chroming in Dudley was suggested, but they can be slow. Any other recommendations for a high quality job please.
Thanks,
John.

Never used them so can't vouch for them in any way, but local colleagues have recommended Ashfords:

Must get round to fixing my bumpers, need re-chroming!

From my personal experience I couldn't recommend Ashford chroming at all. Very slow, terrible communication and at one point I thought I was going to have to drive down and recover my parts fearing I would otherwise never see them again.

Their service may have improved, recent reviews seem favourable, but do do some digging about them and come to your own conclusions.

Derby plating is as good as it gets, but they have a long waiting list because of this

Thanks for the comments R-R.
Next time I meet up with the lads I must have a chat and see if their experience is recent or not.
