Gearbox layshaft end float

Simple question but does anyone know what the gearbox layshaft end float should be? It's a 67 coupe with 2 rod gearbox.

I believe about 25 thou max, otherwise new bronze thrust washers will be required. Around 10 thou would be ideal.
