Gearbox input shaft play

How much play should there be in the gearbox input shaft? Is this too much?

I’d say that’s okay - it’s supported by the spigot bearing at the front, is there any movement at the bearing when the nose is supported?

Ta. Having looked at it more closely the bearing is a bit rough and sticks occasionally. So it's now all apart and ready for a new one.
