Essex idler pulley bearing

Hi everyone.
My Essex engine in my SE6A has a noisy idler pulley. I'm having trouble removing the pulley bearing.
I've removed the wire clip thingy and soaked the hole it was in with plus gas. Still no luck.
Is this bearing an interference fit or should it just slide out.
This may be a waste of time as I cant find a replacement. Only one for a ford 2.5 diesel 1985-2000, which looks the same.
This thread looks like an interesting compromise.

Has anyone any other suggestions.

Thanks,
Rod

You have to remove the front cover and press it out from the back..I have seen the bearing on ebay,

Thanks for the reply.
I need to source one before I remove the timing cover.
I cant find them on ebay. Perhaps I'm not describing it correctly. "Ford Essex idler bearing",
"Ford Essex fan bearing" shows two that look the same but are listed for the 2.5 diesel. If that is an essex based diesel great but I don't want to risk £30 on the off chance.
