Dumb question - Spare wheel support plates...And stuff

Post by Dennis Nicholas » Wed Jun 12, 2019 11:08 pm

I frequently use www.spaldingfastners.co.uk.....lots of tech info; 01522753444; good at posting.

Also and especially www.kayfast.co.uk. They also sell on ebay......but phone them first to get the ebay number of the item you want (they are very helpful and happy to tell you) items are same price on ebay but you SAVE on post as free post.

Also found ebay massiveattack007.......last purchase £5.89 for combined 5 bolts, nuts, and washers UNF.

For info data see www.fastnerdata.co.uk......givs sizes, strengths.

Dennis

I have a drawing of the front nose plate (I made my own a few months ago and had it welded by a local chap)
Hi Will
Is there any possibility of you sending me a copy of your drawing as I will be having some (3) made in stainless steel?
The laser profiling, bending and welding will be carried out by my very friendly engineering company next door. They produce highly accurate work for JCB and other leading companies. These will be for my GTC’S so may be different but I can easily measure any differences. This is just for me to make my dinner breaks more interesting without having an obvious steel tray sitting on my desk.
Regards
Ron
